New Release Concept and Ideas for Verses

Due to the length of Loose Ends III, I decided to split it on 2 scheduled projects, Changing the Game & Final Resolution, to be completed 6/1 and 6/18 respectively. Thus, Loose Ends III is completed with 12 different verses, which Changing the Game & Final Resolution will be complete tracks instead of a mix of full tracks and one-verse.

A lot of my verses from the previous albums were written using the PC. This time, though, I am taking it back to the old notepad. It is the same style I used for Paper Trail and for most of my poetry. My best work comes from the written concept, so I am returning to it.

Loose Ends 3: Update

This is more of a push than I thought it to be. Over half of the album will be finished throughout the week. This way, a Reloaded version would not be necessary. Because I am digging deep into my abilities, this is DEFINITELY the last ‘album’ and hip hop inspired collection of rhymes. More of my poetic talent will be explored from a lyrical and emotional edge from this point forward.

Cover art is being developed for this one as the previous Loose Ends album.

Did a few updates to some lyrics. Basically, I am going through old rhymes for inspiration and improvement. Paper Trail and Loose Ends are my best work in my opinion. It does nothing when it comes to establish me as an artist because that is not my intention. I am not a rap artist, I honestly categorize myself as a lyricist for entertainment reasons. I am serious when it comes to writing and professing myself; however, this is not a career pursuit or an attempt to pick up a microphone and go head-up against other artists. I do this for kicks and to see if I can put myself out there a bit.

It takes a black gown that in the mid of May can be hot as a mofo!
Thousands of people asking, “What’s next” and you saying, “I don’t know.”
What they do not realize that you’re embracing the moment.
The moment when you walk across the aisle, excited to see.
A degree in your hand that took 4-5 years to be.
Even to those who took longer, you still get a shout out.
Because actually getting the degree is what it is all about.
2.0, 4.0, 3.5, doesn’t matter the GPA.
As long as it represents your 100 effort, you can boldly say,
I GRADUATED!

Dedication to the 2011 class, whether you are in high school or college. It is indeed a great accomplishment.

At a loss for words…

Ever wonder why that gut feeling you had never went away…
Ever wonder why you always say should I go or stay?
Ever wondered why those bad people always get the good breaks?
Ever wondered why you work hard to eat Mcdonalds and spoiled kids always eat steak

Life seems so pointless at times…
Why try harder than the next when you seem to be wasting your time?
Good things come and good things go…
Why can’t some good things come and stay… we may never know!!

Never have I ever been afraid to take my own shots…
Never been afraid to make my own mistakes…
Never been afraid to accept my own defeat…
But only once in my life have I had to retreat…

Retreating to REGROUP… not to give up…
Retreating to pull my feet out of the mud where they were once stuck
Retreating to regain strength and determination…
Retreating to redefine my own destination…

No one said it would be easy…
No one said it would not be tough…
No one said be careful about your decisions…
No one said that I should handle my business with precision!

But learning how to be my own man…
And learning how to deal with consequences at hand…
And learning how to adapt and adjust…
I had to learn how to move fast, and that was a must

Picture all of the money that you have blown…
Picture all of the opportunities you let slide by…
Imagine all of the dreams that should of came true…
Imagine those gray skies turning back blue…

See yourself being your own King or Queen…
See yourself being loving and kind and not so mean..
See yourself giving GOD his due…
Then stop questioning where ya money went when ya bills are due!!

See now I live my life the way I choose….
I have had my fair share of hard times and blues…
My life has never been picture perfect…
But the things I been through made me a man.. and made it all worth it!

Flying higher than any eagle or any other bird…
Looking back over my life leaves me….
