So we got walkouts, a petition, a vote, a PPV, and a Mexican tour to prep for. This whole ‘walkout’ storyline gotta go and it’s gotta go tonight. Embrace the fact that Mr. “EVPOTR” or Executive Vice-President of Talent Relations, is the one behind all of this. Saddening though, that the guy gotta reinstate his positon every time that he’s on TV.

Why Wrestling Matters to LosEvolution
Ever since I was a kid, I watched wrestling. I remember everyone kept saying that it is fake, that it is scripted. That the stuff wasn’t real. Well, true enough, a lot of the sport is scripted, but the risks….the risks are real. Some of the blood (especially if it is bladed) is real. Injuries are real. It is all a story told with the human body. Two people working together to perform maneuvers and paint the picture that is wrestling. To me, I enjoy watching the painting….

The sport of wrestling has been called multiple things ranging from awesome to crap and to real to fake….
The Whole Deal
It is a soap opera. These guys travel up and down the road performing this with their bodies. Bumping the ropes, getting slammed on the mat, all the bumps are real. Now some punches are stiff and others are not. For years, people do this sport left and right, get rich, but pay a horrible price, either during or post-wrestling career.

The Price
TNA Personality Terry Bolea has gone through multiple surgeries to repair his back. For those who do not recognize the name, here is a face for it.

Exactly. Hulk Hogan. Over the years, he has performed this sport and has had everything from hip to back surgeries as a result of it.

The unbridled concept of staying on top, of staying ahead, of being better is one that always stays on my mind. No matter what, there is room for evolution, room for improving.

3 years ago, I remember when I started the idea of LosEvolution.
1 year ago, I remember when I pledged Iota Phi Theta.
And on December 31, 2009, I remember when I made the decision to shut up every negative thought that came to mind. That I was going to change everything there is about this game. Everything that could be different, I made up in my mind that it was going to be different.
To become different…one must change everything there is about him.

It is a hard aspect..one that requires a lot of thought and garners a lot of opinion. What is yours?

I remember, growing up, I watched The Rock. I began imitating him, watching his career evolve until his 2003 departure. Anyone who knew wrestling knew The Rock. “The Brahma Bull, The Great One, Mr. Hit it Strong, Hit it Fast, even in movies, putting his foot up Hollywood’s candy ***.”
Bald and bold, ‘The Great One’ bowed out gracefully and continued his career in acting. I look at him and how his performance was in speaking on camera, performing in front of a crowd, not attempting to pattern him, but to compare passion, drive, focus, and confidence.

This is the video that inspired my thoughts, knowing that it is now what I look at when it comes to being in front of a crowd. Greatness truly has no limits and I tried my best to be just that: great. I expect 100% out of my life and I aim for the best. Go hard or go home is the mentality. I look at my life and all the adversity. All I can do is borrow the words: JUST BRING IT! I write this because I realize now that I embraced this mentality. No matter the fact that I am human and imperfection is true, I never used it as my crutch. Why start now?

If there is one thing I have worked hard at in my life, it is my presence. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson once said, “When you walk into a room, you have to OWN the room. Own the room.”
The YPOW for the week is about The Rock. For a lot of people who watched wrestling, The Rock was a man to be cheered for. Charisma, skill, ability, and a crazy eyebrow, for years imitation was the greatest form of flattery. Mastery of the people’s eyebrow, leveling of the voice, the whole nine yards. The only difference was that I took from him what he displayed: confidence. The attitude that was needed to live my life is that attitude I adapted.
