Vista Transformation Pack – Yes or No
this.
In the blink of an eye, your OS will look like the latest variant of the new OS Windows Vista.
Background Info:
The Vista Transformation Pack was made by developer Windows X. His purpose was to develop a program that would change the Windows XP operating system. In this idea, the (then) Longhorn Transformation Pack was developed. With the advancement of the new OS, Windows X kept changing and updating his software, keeping constant tabs on the development of Windows Vista. Translation: Another build, another version of th Transformation Pack.
How it works:
As I showed from the pictures, it does a major overhawl of the Windows GUI (Graphic User Interface).
Once the program has begun the setup process, there are mutliple options. First is the automatic setup, which is the typical setup. Also, there is the manual setup, where you can customize and tweak the pack to your discretion. You can even apply the settings to your Windows XP Setup files, meaning the transformation can take place during the XP fresh Install process. Meaning, bye bye Luna, hello Aero! Also, your icons, bootscreen, and even the look of your folders are changed to emulate the new Vista.
Small Warning:
Because of the drastic changes in your OS, it is HIGHLY recommended that you follow the explicit instructions that Windows X provides with the software. I have done the setup multiple times, and so have a lot of people online. Most have success, others are bugged since directions weren’t followed. These bugs do not cause you to reformat, I assure you, but to save you a lot of trouble, two things are recommended. The first one can be for you to do the installation in Safe Mode, or to keep the installation in normal mode and wait one minute before restarting your PC, just as Windows X instructs.
My Opinion:
Perhaps the greatest piece of software that I ever managed to get my hands on. I love the VTP and I have been using it ever since the Longhorn Transformation Pack. It is a great program and here are some snapshots to prove its success. These pictures can also be viewed at the JCXP.net forums, where I am a member.
