iPhone4 – Broke Antenna = Free Case??

Ok, here is the deal: Instead of fixing the implied antenna issue, Apple wants you to do two things: Buy the phone and receive a free case!!!!
It is like they are trying to repair the bullet wound instead of fixing the darn thing!!!
