From a technician’s standpoint, Ninite is the lifesaver. It has a multitude of software, all wrapped up in a customizable package. Basically, it is a one-stop shopping center for essential programs. Even a trial version of Microsoft Office is among these.
With well over 40 choices of software, Ninite should be anyone’s stop, especially when dealing with a new computer (or one that you had to wipe and reinstall)
